My only digital camera has been in Pennsylvania for the last few weeks and I am happy to say it’s finally coming back. See I never had much of a use for it and I don’t even know why I originally bought it. It could be because I wanted it, it could be because I am bad with money, or it could be that I knew that I would need a good digital camera for storm chasing later on in life. Alright honestly the last one didn’t even cross my mind and that’s not exactly the point. The point is with the camera finally on it’s way I can buy a good windshield mount and I will be able to get out and about in the storm cells with video footage. Often I’m just driving and I see neat stuff and it’s not like the plain states out here on the East Coast. We have suburbia everywhere and while we are in an area that can see tornadoes – at the same time they are not common enough. We’re more likely to get hit by a hurricane this year! I would love to take a trip out to the mid western states for a month and storm chase. I might just do so next year. It seriously attracts me to be able to go out on a road trip searching for storms. Living life by the road and sleeping in the Storm Xterra. I have no issues with that at all. In fact I’m going to plan it out. I’ll need to head straight to tornado alley and pick out a good area to roam. Hopefully more blog entries and some storm footage will be coming soon. On the weather front…my friends nothing is going on. It’s sad and it’s boring but it’s just hot here and sunny. We are getting small isolated storms daily but they are not blog worthy or even worth going out to chase. In fact my weather radio behind me is showing that I am currently under a Severe Storm Watch.
